Ogoegbunam Okafor

Ogoegbunam Okafor is the firm’s founding partner. As the firm’s visionaire one of her main goals is to ensure that lawyers are seen to have a heart even whilst delivering results and possible solutions for people and organizations with legal needs.

Ogo is committed to excellence in serving public interest along side private sector. Her constant desire to support the less privileged ties into the firm’s vision which has consistently grown the probono service of the firm and given us an opportunity to do some good in the world especially in this challenging times. With this, Ogo has brought broader substantive experience into the firm and given young counsel even outside the firm opportunities to lead diverse cases.

Ogo holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Lagos, and a BL from the Nigerian Law School. She has an LLM from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and is licensed and certified to practice in the state of New York in the United States of America.

She was recently awarded by the Securities and Exchange Commission for her contribution to the growth of the Nigerian capital markets and has grown different indigenous sme’s instilling the need for good governance and the need to create a system that will enable consistent growth in small and medium sized businesses. She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK (ACIArb UK) and was an annual Contributor to the International Comparative Legal Guide (ICLG) to Merger Control from 2014 -2017 in Nigeria and has advised various international and local clients on merger control laws in Nigeria. She has made contributions to the annual World Bank “Doing Business” Group research, advising local and international clients on how to do business in Nigeria.

She has vast experience in the areas of Capital Markets and Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisition, Corporate Governance,Business Ethics, I.C.T, Oil and Gas, Criminal and Civil law Advocacy, Entertainment and Fashion law.

TOSIN OLUWOLE

Tosin Oluwole is the Partner in charge of Energy and Natural Resources in the firm. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Lagos, and a BL from the Nigerian Law School. She also has an MBA from Edinburgh Business School. Tosin has attended multiple quality trainings among which include Essential Management Skills for Emerging Leaders at Harvard University.

Tosin’s experience covers both corporate and private practice. She started off in the oil and gas industry and rose to the position of the Commercial Manager in one of Nigeria’s most renowned indigenous oil and gas organziation, where she left a remarkable legacy of growth and business continuity before joining the firm.

She has extensive advisory experience in Oil and Gas, Power, Construction, Corporate Governance and Business Ethics, Mergers and Acquisitions, and general corporate and commercial transactions.

Ijeoma Alatishe

Ijeoma Alatishe is a legal counsel, in the corporate governance, entertainment and Law and fashion practice of the firm. She obtained her degree from Igbinedion University and a BL from the Nigerian Law School.

She is passionate about creating a legal framework in the fashion industry, also advises parties in the fashion industries on their relationships, contracting arrangement, risk assessment and limitations.

She is actively involved in the company secretariat and implementation of corporate governance framework of some of our Nigerian Clients.

Gloria Utogit David

Gloria Utogit David holds a bachelor of laws degree from the University of Calabar, and a BL from the Nigerian Law School. She is a committed member of the Nigerian Bar Association, and currently working with O.N.O Legal as a Junior associate.

Prior to joining the firm, Gloria worked with Hawkes Legal barristers and solicitors as an extern and H. E. Wabara & co. as an intern.

Gloria has considerable experience in preparing and typing of legal documents, letter writing, proof reading of documents, research work, advising clients on the establishment of businesses and has participated in multiple client’s interviews.
